What a bust! Just returned from the fourth annual event and was very dissapointed!! I really feel like I wasted 20 bucks. After being to hundreds of rallies in my life, this one was the worse yet. Didn't have half of the events that were posted in the flyer and website. Didn't see any hot air baloons, bike shows, dirt drags, zip line, or a water slide in the bar. Where was the "midget toss" competition?? Where was the staging lights for the drags? Where was the burn out pit??All I saw was a bunch of unhappy people standing around in a dust bowl of a cow field pissing and moaning over how it sucked.
There were however vendors, helicopter rides and machine gun shoots, and two guys racing up and down the field recklessly on modified crotch rockets spraying dirt on everyone. It wasn't even marked off for safety. Anyone could have been seriously hurt.

The advertised new bar was an old tobacco barn someone had built a make shift bar in. Maybe it was because the event had moved to the new location, but as for me and people I talked to. This "rally" sucked. I wouldn't even have called it a rally.

We need a head count for some extras we're planning to have for everyone who comes out. Please go to www.DixieABATE.org and register how many in your group will coming out.
*Our ride participants have been invited to Harley Davidson of Montgomery for free hot dogs and hamburgers after the ride.
*Barber's Vintage Motorsports Museum has offered a buy one get one free admission deal for all the couples that make our ride. If we can give them a number of folks that are going there afterwards, they can even stay open later on that day for you.
*Dixie ABATE is working on "Event Buttons" for those that come out for this event. Need to know how many we'll need.
*The news channels wants to know how many bikes will be riding into Montgomery on that day and we want to tell them thousands.

Sports motorcycle track day more and more popular. It is almost impossible to ride a street legal motorcycle on the actual track, but today you can find dozens of organizations and track on track days. Some of the tracks on the particular brand of club, such club company invited all of the brands.

Amelia Island is awesome, we stopped there last June on our southeast/east coast ride. We stayed at the Amelia Hotel by the Beach - very nice!
